We are currently seeking a Systems Administration Senior Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Strong working knowledge of the storage industry for both off-line, on-line and related storage technologies is essential (e.g. Backup, Storage Array, SAN & NAS technologies).

An equivalent of at least 3 years experience in a large distributed environment with a thorough understanding of Unix to solid system administration level and a comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP & associated technologies (NFS, CIFS, NIS, DNS).

Competent scripter to support in-house developed tools and products (Korn Shell or Perl coding).

Ability to troubleshoot, resolve complex problems, with a ?fix it once for everywhere? and automation mentality.

Strong communication skills and a sense of global ownership are required. High levels of motivation, initiative and a proactive or ‘self-starter’ approachto work is essential.

Hands on experience and working knowledge of the following technologies: Veritas Netbackup 7.x and 8.x Storage Array technologies SAN switches and Fabric OS Solaris and Linux (Red-hat) AdvancedDisk with SLP IBM high-end Tape library LTO8
