Experience & Skills

• Professional DBA with the technical skills and knowledge that extends across Application/ Server/ Storage/ Network technologies to administer a large, complex production DB environment and troubleshoot and provide system level guidance/ solutions

• Result oriented, analytical and self-driven seasoned professional working in a dual role of design/architecture and production support.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills along with very good understanding and experience working in a highly dynamic environment.

• Excellent hands-on in Oracle EBS 12.2 and database administration

• Extensive Experience in designing and maintaining Oracle Database in Clustered environment (RAC) preferably with Oracle Data appliance server (ODA)

• Extensive experience with Oracle EBS 12.2 application and database patching/ cloning ,configuration and Upgrades

• Experience of implementation of DR (Disaster Recovery) plan. Worked extensively on Backup & Recovery online/offline using RMAN Along with performing DR drills and Tape recoveries.

• Experience on Performance Tuning & Capacity Planning pro-active and re-active actions for optimal performance

Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate with vendor resources to support/maintain the Oracle EBS 12.2 applications /Databases (Oracle/SQL) for 24*7 support

• Partner with infra team to design/architect solutions for backup using RMAN , Database sizing and DR solutions .

• Work with Support/Dev team to Perform upgrades/patching to Oracle EBS and other supported Databases (Oracle/SQL)

• Optimizing the downtime for maintenance by coordinating with the different application teams involved in the maintenance activity.

• Supervising application of One-Off, patch sets and PSU patches

• Work with Security team to make sure the servers are secure and perform the corrective steps to reduce risks

• Strictly follow Change Control/Change management procedures as laid down by the organization in a highly dynamic environment.

• Any Database cluster experience (ESSBASE, ODA) would be preferred.
