Numerator is looking for a Data Science Analyst to join our growing Analytics team. This is a unique opportunity where you will get a chance to work with an established and rapidly evolving platform that handles millions of requests and massive amounts of transactional data. In this position, you will be responsible for taking on new initiatives to automate, enhance, maintain, and scale analytics.

This Data Science Analyst position on the Numerator Analytics team focuses on empowering internal team members and partners across the organization with insightful data and analytics. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and develop reports in BI tools to answer business questions.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and product owners to determine business data reporting and analysis requirements.

• Work with Data Engineering counterparts to develop data pipeline and metric definitions.

• Learn and develop expertise in our data structure and storage systems

• Support production processes to resolve issues

• create visualizations and models for use by multiple parties

• Perform other ad hoc analysis and support as required from business stakeholders

• Communicate data concerns and answers to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 3+ years’ progressive experience as a BI developer/Data Engineer/BI engineer.

• Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL with proven experience of using SQL for Analytics in a business environment.

• Demonstrated experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Domo, etc.

• Demonstrated experience with ETL tools such as AirFlow, Talend, SSIS, Informatica, etc.

• Experience with Agile methodology of project management is a plus

• Hands-on experience in using Python for Analytics and Automating reports is good to have.

• Proven ability to: work in a team environment, produce results independently, solve complex problems, exhibit strong judgment, lead and manage in a fluid work environment

• Flexible, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to quick changes

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
