Job Title: Nursing Tutor
Location: IIHT Paramedical Nursing College, Deoband Saharanpur
Reports To: Head of Nursing Department / Principal

Position Overview:
The Nursing Tutor will be responsible for providing academic and clinical guidance to nursing students, helping them develop the necessary skills for a successful nursing career. This role combines instruction, mentorship, and clinical supervision to ensure students acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the nursing field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures and practical sessions in nursing theory and clinical skills.
• Prepare, develop, and update course materials and lesson plans to align with the latest nursing practices and standards.
• Conduct assessments, practical evaluations, and exams to gauge student progress.
• Supervise students during their clinical rotations and ensure competency in clinical practices.
• Provide mentorship and counseling to students to help them overcome academic or personal challenges.
• Stay up-to-date with current nursing trends and incorporate evidence-based practices into teaching.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty members to enhance the curriculum and improve student learning outcomes.
• Engage in faculty development programs to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s degree preferred)
• Experience in teaching or clinical supervision is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide students in both academic and clinical settings.
