Your Role:-

• Analyze functional requirements and develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases

• Collaborate with the development team to ensure the code is testable and has the necessary test hooks

• Analyse failures and identify root causes, setting the behavior based on the requirements

• Filing bug reports in the defect tracking system and driving them to closure

• Manage the triage, prioritization, resolution, automation, and delivery of fixes for defects, including production defects

• Develop and execute manual and automatic test cases

• Ensuring the regression test suites are regularly managed and failures triaged

• Help develop clean, stable, bug-free code using best practices and processes such as iterative development, continuous delivery, and release management.

What You’ll Bring:-

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.

• 2+ years of industry experience

• Experience in software development or test automation in Python

• Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms, strong in problem-solving

• Expertise in developing automated tests using tools like Python and Jenkins

• Expertise with testing frameworks such as PyTest and PyUnit

• Strong knowledge of testing principles, process, and authoring of test documents

• Passion and ownership of the quality of the applications owned by the team.
