We are looking for a Sr System Software Engineer – Platform Software!

What you’ll be doing:

• Drive next generation Reliability, Availability and Serviceability (RAS) design for NVIDIA data center server products.

• Define, implement and validate next generation RAS tools for scale out deployment

• Work closely with customers to understand requirements and deliver on those

• Write code which is performance optimized consuming the least amount of system resources like CPU and memory

• Develop automated unit test suites and strive to achieve 100% code coverage and ensure delivery of enterprise quality software applications with enhanced supportability

• Drive product life cycles with QA teams to productize the code, and be responsible as a product owner.

• Work with NVIDIA partners on RAS related architecture and discussions to improve their use of NVIDIA products.

• Contribute to all phases of product development, from product definition and architecture and design, through implementation, debugging, testing and early customer support.

  What we need to see:

• Pursuing BS, MS, or PhD in EE/CS or related field of education.

• Strong and demonstrable skill in C/C++ and Python

• Hands on experience developing code at system level for x86 and ARM platforms.

• Familiar with Linux server design, interconnects like PCI, and other I/O buses.

• Excellent linux kernel knowledge and experience programming in linux environment

• Experience in SCM (e.g. Git, Perforce).

• You should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, good work ethics, high sense of team-work, love to produce quality work and commitment to finish your tasks every single day.

• You are a self-starter who loves to find creative solutions to complicated problems.

• 5+ of relevant working experience

  Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Demonstrable expertise with x86 or ARM system architecture.

• Familiar with processor microarchitecture such as caches, pipelining, memory hierarchy, and instruction set architecture (ISA).

• Experience with code coverage and static analysis tools.

• Familiar with Linux kernel development, specifically writing device drivers.
