Key Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder engagement
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, elected officials, and industry groups.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment of policy advocacy efforts with Nxtwave’s objectives.
• Organize and participate in stakeholder meetings, workshops, and public forums to promote the Nxtwave’s policy agenda.
• Advocacy and Representation:
• Represent Nxtwave at meetings, hearings, and conferences with government officials and other stakeholders.
• Advocate for the organization’s policy positions with legislators, regulators, and other key decision-makers.
• Communication and Reporting:
• Prepare and deliver presentations, speeches, and briefings to internal and external audiences.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on legislative and regulatory developments and advocacy activities.
• Draft and edit communication materials, including press releases, op-eds, and fact sheets.
• Policy Development and Analysis:
• Monitor, analyze, and interpret proposed and existing legislation and regulations affecting the Nxtwave’s interests.
• Develop policy positions and recommendations in alignment with the Nxtwave’s strategic goals.
• Prepare policy briefs, position papers, and reports to support advocacy efforts.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure the Nxtwave’s advocacy activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Identify potential risks associated with public policy and regulatory changes and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in similar domain or working with governments.
• Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes at the central, state, and local levels.
• Strong analytical and research skills to assess policy impacts and develop strategic recommendations.
• Education: Bachelors from premier colleges like IIT, IIM’s would be an added advantage
• Travel: Should be willing to travel to Govt offices (mostly Delhi) for regular meetings and to maintain relationships.
• Travel to Hyderabad once every two weeks or a month.
• Stay in Hyderabad during induction for first 1-2 months

Work Location & Working Days:

• Work From Anywhere(Preferably around Delhi)
• 5 Days Working
