Key Responsibilities:

1 : Cash FlowManagement and Monitoring

Daily Cash Flow Management:

• Prepare and monitor the daily group-level cash flow statement, ensuring alignment with projections.
• Compare daily actuals against projections, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.

Projections and Variance Analysis:

• Develop monthly group-level cash flow projections in collaboration with business units.
• Track actual fund utilization against projections, prepare variance analyses, and recommend actionable insights.

2 : Treasury Operations and Banking Management

Fund Allocation and Approvals:

• Oversee daily fund allocation to ensure adequate liquidity for operational and strategic needs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to secure timely approvals for fund transfers and payments.

Critical Payments and Statutory Compliance:

• Maintain an up-to-date calendar of critical financial events, including GST, TDS, and salary payments.
• Ensure compliance with statutory payment deadlines to avoid penalties and maintain regulatory adherence.

Banking Operations:

• Facilitate the issuance of Letters of Credit (LCs) and Bank Guarantees (BGs) as per business requirements.
• Negotiate competitive terms with banks and financial institutions for LC/BG issuance.

Intercompany Settlements:

• Manage intercompany settlements, including loans and bill reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.

3 : Hedging and Forex Management

Foreign Exchange and Hedging Strategies:

• Execute hedging strategies for open import exposures at least twice a week, ensuring completecoverage of all exposures.
• Monitor foreign exchange markets to mitigate currency risks and optimize costs.
• Prepare and present quarterly Unhedged Foreign Currency Exposure (UFCE) reports to senior management.

4 : Compliance and Reporting

ODI and Compliance Reporting:

• Manage Overseas Direct Investments (ODI) in the form of debt and equity, ensuring compliance with RBI regulations.
• Prepare and file Annual Performance Reports (APR) for ODI entities.

EDPMS and IDPMS:

• Oversee the closure of Export Data Processing and Monitoring System (EDPMS) and Import Data Processing and Monitoring System (IDPMS) transactions.

Bank Covenants and Financial Reporting:

• Ensure compliance reporting with respect to bank covenants, including FFR- 1, FFR-2,due diligence reports,and stock statements.
• Liaise with lenders and ensure timely submission of all requisite documents.

Rating and Working Capital Renewals:

• Coordinate with rating agencies for periodic rating renewals.
• Manage working capital sanction renewals, including the preparation and submission of required documentation.

5 : Management Information System (MIS) Reporting

Financial Insights:

• Prepare comprehensive monthly MIS reports, providing insights into financial performance, cash flow, and hedging activities.
• Deliver actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and financial planning.
