About the Role:

We are looking for a creative, motivated individual to help plan and execute the content across various social channels along with a team of executives and content creators. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and fashion, along with a proven track record in content creation and strategic execution. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and leadership to drive the creation of educational and inspirational content while managing sales and key events.

Job Description:

Create Educational and inspirational Beauty/Fashion-forward content:

• Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality video content for MyNykaa & Nykaa TV. Ensure content aligns with Nykaa’s brand voice and resonates with our audience.
• Calendar planning of hero, hub and hygiene content. Ensuring qualitative posts across various mediums such as reels, carousels, statics.
• Create assets that are focused on Nykaa’s brand positioning, to play up features on the app and web platform.

Strategy & Execution:

• Design and implement content strategies that drive engagement and growth for MyNykaa & Nykaa TV.
• Plan and execute key sales events and promotional campaigns.
• Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize results.

Project Management:

• Oversee the content production process from ideation to publication.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Social Media, and Shoot & Production to ensure timely and effective content delivery.
• Manage budgets and timelines for content projects and events.

Leadership:

• Lead a team of content creators and coordinators, providing guidance and support to achieve team goals.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure Nykaa remains at the forefront of beauty and fashion content.

Sales & Event Management:

• Strategize and execute plans for sales events and key promotional activities.
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to drive revenue through effective content and event strategies.
• Monitor the success of events and campaigns, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.

Knowledge and Skill / Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Fashion, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, or a similar role within the beauty or fashion industry.
• Proven experience in managing video content production and strategy.
• Experience leading a small team and working cross functionally with other departments
• Ability to strategize with the changing/trending nature of the digital space
• An established networker in the social media space who is able to engage and influence creative individuals.
• Ability to understand audience needs and behaviours across platforms /devices / content and translate this into strategic thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Proficiency in content management systems and video editing tools.
