Team Description

Our Design team crafts exceptional omnichannel shopping experiences for millions of users by combining research and data. We pour all our energies in keeping the result simple and focus on an iterative user-centred design process to develop our products. We’re a close-knit group, from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures. Our team is scaling, and we currently sit out of three locations in India – Bangalore, Mumbai and Gurgaon. As we continue to expand our digital presence, we are seeking a talented and experienced UX Writer to join our dynamic team with 2-3 years of UX writing experience, particularly in e-commerce.

Role Description

As a UX Writer, you will play a critical role in crafting user-centric content that enhances the overall user experience across our digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers, to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces that align with our brand voice and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in UX writing, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in the e-commerce industry.

Responsibilities

• Create clear, concise, and user-friendly content for various digital touchpoints, including websites, mobile apps, emails, and user interfaces.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to develop and refine wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to ensure the content aligns with user needs and business goals.
• Conduct content audits and provide recommendations for improving the clarity, consistency, and overall quality of existing content.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive user experience by aligning content with design elements, functionality, and brand guidelines.
• Perform user research and analysis to gain insights into user behavior, needs, and pain points, and use those insights to inform content strategy and decision-making.
• Create and maintain a style guide and content standards to ensure consistency across platforms and touchpoints.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX writing and e-commerce to continuously improve the content strategy and user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a UX Writer or similar role, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of UX writing principles and showcasing previous work on digital products or platforms.
• Proficiency in writing clear and concise content for various digital touchpoints.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with user-centered design principles and processes.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and how to optimize content for search engines is a plus.
• Experience with content management systems and design tools is a plus.
