CEO Food and Platform Business (India)

I’ve been engaged by an Food and Platform Business in India to identify a dynamic and passionate CEO with a proven track record capable of spearheading the transformation of a roughly $100 million USD B2B platform business. The chosen leader is expected to contribute value across various dimensions, including investor relations, strategic planning, distribution network optimization, and overall enhancements to the entire value chain within the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a growth strategy aligning with the global vision while adapting to the Indian market.
• Profitability and Growth: Drive the business to achieve profitability targets within 6-12 months, emphasizing top-line growth and revenue expansion.
• Team Management: Lead a diverse team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with customers, suppliers, investors, and government bodies.
• Market Expertise: Utilize deep knowledge of the Indian market to identify opportunities and challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years experience with a track record in food know-how, distribution network and partnership, senior leadership and scaling profitable business.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving business turnaround.
• Extensive knowledge of the Indian market.
• Strong networking skills and the ability to build key relationships.
• Strategic thinker comfortable with ambiguity.
• Be willing to relocate to the specific location within India
