Omega AS Hiring For Industrial Technician at North District Full Time

Our client is an Engineering and Maintenance services provider to the Energy and Infrastructure sector as a leading provider in fully integrated mechanical, electrical and instrumentation services globally.

The Role

We are currently seeking Industrial Technicians for an immediate start on a 5-week assignment on a Maintenance Project offshore WA on the Northern Endeavor Platform. The rotation is 4/2 FIFO ex Perth.

Key Responsibilities

Handling and waste disposal of dangerous goods, including radio-active materials, asbestos, mercury decontamination and condensate; and working in inert environments

Set up confined space entry jobs and create rescue plans

Operation of heavy machinery such as dangerous goods rated vacuum trucks, vacuum equipment, compressors, diesel pumps

Chemical decontamination

Vessel entry and cleaning

Required Skills

Gas Test Atmosphere

1-2 years in a similar role
