KRA- Head Electrical

Ø Prepare detailed forward works plans for the electrical department in consultation with the Head of Production / Plant.

Ø Develop & monitor the operations plan to achieve specific objectives.

Ø Liasioning with statutory bodies, Inspector of Electricals etc.

Ø Control and effectively manage all the divisional sections operations.

Ø Establish and adjust the resource levels to achieve organisational targets and objectives.

Ø Ensure all plans & processes are in place to enable projects to be completed on time, within budget, as per specifications.

Ø Take major operating, engineering & maintenance decisions by self.

Ø Evaluate processes & departments strategic plans & take corrective actions as necessary.

Ø Maintain and promote safe practices and procedures as per the industry standards.

Ø Lead in the assessment of the training needs of staff and establish the training program as and when needed.

Ø Work closely with the Head of Design & Procurement to identify conceptual and practical options for procurement of the design and delivery of each proposed work. (traditional versus design and construct)

Ø Collate and submit monthly board updates for operational & project works relating to the electrical section.

Ø Review and prepare the contract scope, tender and contract documentations for the procurement of professional services and projects.

Ø Audit or peer review and approve as appropriate, concept designs, project estimates, construction & maintenance contract documents and works monitoring tools against service levels, standards and value for money.

Ø Provide professional and technical advice to the Plant Production Head, Team and contractors.

Ø Make periodic reports on the operations and present testimony before various boards, commissions, and state agencies.

Ø Ensure plant regulatory compliance with all applicable codes and regulations, paying close attention to Air Quality Permit requirements, Spill Plan requirements and all other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Ø Diploma or BE in electrical engineering from a reputed institute.

Ø At least 10 years’ progressive experience with electrical works of which at least 2 years has been spent in any Automobile Plant Operation.

Ø Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in the electric two wheeler industry.

Ø Ideally should be working in a leading electric automobile manufacturer / dealer.

Ø Proven technical knowledge and experience in project and plant operations management.

Ø A proven record of managing resources for the achievement of desired outcomes

Ø Excellent works organisation, and focused office organisation skills

Ø The ability to make it absolute clear to the production engineers and contractors what is required and then ensuring the required results are achieved, to the standard required, within the pre-determined timeframe and budgetary constraints.

Ø Good people skills, Enthusiastic and self-driven towards development in the profession.

Ø Ability to work well under pressure and meet stringent timelines;

Problem-solving aptitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹25,000.00 – ₹40,000.00 per month
