Purpose Of The Job

Effective and efficient management of the Logistics and supply chain operations at the Hub level resulting in enhanced service levels and optimum logistics spend. Support the Regional logistics coordinator& Asst. Manager – Logistics in implementation of logistics and SCM initiatives.

Principal Accountabilities

WSP Management

• Addressing warehouse infrastructure requirements and planning for expansions/consolidation as and when required. Infrastructure development and new godown selection and Service provider evaluation for the same.
• Framing warehouse contracts and be involved in negotiations and execution of all warehouse contracts in coordination with Regional Logistics coordinator and Asst. manager – Logistics and Warehouse Service Provider selection.
• Master Data Management: Maintain databases for all warehouses- infrastructure, contracts etc.
• Evaluate and monitor performance of WSPs on a regular basis to have more control over the operations and give feedback to the WSPs for further improvements
• Conduct quarterly audits for all warehouses and prepare evaluation report along with solution report
• Ensure EHS compliance and Pest Control at all the warehouses.
• Suggest and ensure implementation of initiatives and process improvements in Warehousing in coordination with Asst Warehousing Manager& Asst. manager – Logistics.
• Ensure Zero inventory difference between physical& SAP.
• Ensure the availability of way bill, coordinate and arrange the waybills stationary dispatched to the source location, maintain record of such way bills for further ready references.
• Ensure the timely execution of sales and stock transfer orders.
• Ensure that all the GRN’s has been completed and posted in SAP within the time frame set by co. and report back to HO and concerned warehouse in case of differences and mismatches/batch mismatches.
• Ensure that all the sales returns has been posted properly in SAP and coordination with HO team for difference if any, maintain sales return track for further ready reference.

Transport Management

• Effective coordination between WSPs and Transporters to ensure that trucks are placed on time for K2 movement.
• Ensure truck is utilized to the maximum possible by engaging between planning team and WSP team.
• Giving Feedback on arrival condition to origin points resulting in reduced damages and improved delivered quality.
• K3 performance monitoring wrt to TIT& truck utilization
• Implementing HO initiatives in Logistics in coordination with Asst. Manager Logistics, HO.

Inventory Management

• Ensure that all the stocks are stacked in the warehouse and as per SOP and available space should be effectively utilized with in prescribed utilized norms.
• Ensure Zero inventory difference between physical& SAP.
• Ensuring perpetual inventory system/cycle count is happening on daily basis in all the warehouses, report back the same to HO for recovery form wsp in case of differences
• Ensure monthly reconciliations of stock in happening and action taken in case of difference.

Statutory Compliance

• To monitor and provide feedback on WSP operations within the purview of the state and central government guidelines and regulations. Ensuring legal& statutory compliance of for all the warehouses

Techincal Skills

Any Bachelor Degree Preferably with Math/Commerce as one of the subject in HSC

Knowledge in MS excel& any ERP system
