A Digital Workspace MDM Engineer is an experienced and accomplished MDM expert contributing to a dynamic, infrastructure design team making a difference. The position’s primary technology focus addresses complex mobile device management (MDM), cybersecurity compliance, and request/project tasks pertaining to laptops, smartphones, tablets and related technology. The ideal candidate will know how to think “outside-the-box” and will share in responsibilities implementing, enhancing, and supporting the provisioning, configuration and management of enterprise infrastructure running in a hybrid cloud environment. The Digital Workspace MDM Engineer will work closely with architects, infrastructure team members, and application developers. Adhering to industry best practices to support onsemi’s business objectives and user community experience is of utmost importance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Guides our clients through platform transformations through planning, management, and implementation of new technologies.

• Manages enterprise-class mobile device management solutions

• Manage client requirements, escalations and outages and coordinate with partners as needed.

• Tier 3 escalation for investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving complex MDM related issues in production

• Capacity planning to provide analysis and decision support modeling

• Monitoring, ongoing performance tuning, resource optimization, and delivering improvement recommendations to respective infrastructure teams

• Passionate about cloud computing technologies, understanding business drivers, and emerging trends

• Executes efficient life cycle management methodologies of Android and iOS platforms with an “automation only” mindset

• Leads focused activities to improve availability and efficiency for critical onsemi environments

• Experience generating useful report metrics and analytics on the health of MDM platforms

• Coordinates meetings and communicates with non-technical staff on project requests

• Ensures compliance to IT general controls and company working rules

REQUIREMENTS:

Years of experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in MDM and systems engineering

Certification: At least one, preferably two or more of the following certifications: Microsoft MSCE, Microsoft Azure Administrator

Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• MDM: 5+ years Intune and Configuration Manager with at least 100 hosts

• an enterprise environment

• Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory

• Operates, maintains, and provides customer support and consultation for a wide variety of complex IOS and Android smart devices

• Analyzes and develops innovative resolutions for complex problems involving availability and/or performance at the system level

• Works with the client’s Mobile Computing team to resolve problems. Coordinates the implementation of solutions.

• Provides technical leadership for capacity and performance analyses and develops and implements recommendations

• Prepares materials and oral presentations for customers and management

• Develops and maintains specialized knowledge of current and emerging technologies

• Provides training to less experienced team members of the Analytic Section. Highly self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail and willingness to assume responsibility

• An openness to see problems or issues from various angles and a willingness to discuss and vet solutions until a common goal or idea is agreed upon

• Flexibility to adapt and adjust as required until the business needs are met

• Strong understanding of systems architecture from the application through infrastructure stack

• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
