This position supports the Conditional Payment Team by working on Medicare letters received from NGHP insurance companies through research & correspondence with multiple entities including adjustors, CMS, and onshore partners within current turnaround standards. Incumbents are responsible for dealing professionally and ethically safeguarding confidential information, adhering to UHG’s Principles of Integrity and Compliance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Research multiple documents
• Correspondence seeking additional documents & sharing invoices with entities within and outside Optum
• Analyze the invoices from CMS and make decisions regarding dispute filing
• Make frequent calls to US partners & non Optum US entities
• Meet required metrics and quality
• Adherence to state and federal compliance policies and contract compliance
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• Graduates/Degree Holders (B. Com)
• 2 3 years of US healthcare experience
• Understanding of MS Office & good typing skills
• Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and Quality focused
• Good analytical and comprehension skills
• Open to working in Night Shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Health Insurance knowledge, managed care experience
• Medical record familiarity
