Job Description

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications. As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

Applications Development – Financials Management Solutions develops and supports PeopleSoft Financials’ products like Accounts Payables, Asset Management, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger etc.

Technical Profile :

Extensive Knowledge on PeopleSoft development environment and database processing.

Desired Experience on JavaScript/JQUERY, HTML/CSS, Python/Pandas, Elastic Search Machine Learning

Technical presentations white boarding, preparing product/solution demo’s Conducting/leading POC’s, preparing Technical material, Writing product/solution White papers

Technical Experience in designing and developing of mission critical applications

Qualifications :

10+ years enterprise application experience in developing, implementing, architecting with ERP Applications

5+ years of hands-on experience in Peoplesoft Application architecture, preferably working on various open platforms and integration.

Experience with modern Cloud Platforms (OCI/Azure/AWS/GCP)

Experience in at least two technologies – J2EE, JavaScript/JQUERY, HMTL/CSS, Python/Pandas, Elastic Search, Kafka or other Messaging platform, C#/.Net

Experience with working on Open Source and integration with ERP’s.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including writing and publishing technical white papers

Very strong SQL and good understanding of various relational database platforms

Strong skills in research/analysis and ability to troubleshoot technical problems in timely manner

Functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials products is desirable

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science.
