Job Description

Entry-level consulting position for those who are new to professional services and are developing their expertise. Receives detailed instruction on routine work and on new projects or assignments.

As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices with limited autonomy. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.

0 to 2 years of experience relevant to a functional or technical role. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates basic competence in one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

IC1 – Associate Consultant

Preferred Qualifications

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• 2 to 5 years of IT development experience preferably on Telecommunication domain

• Hands on experience working on C (strong skills on pointers, macros, thread management, functions, memory management )

• Hands on experience working with any one of OS like Unix, Linux, Solaris.

• Strong knowledge on RDBMS concepts and understanding of SQL/PL-SQL.

• Good understanding of Rest API, SOAP, Webservices

• Object oriented programming concepts and knowledge on any one OOPS language (C++ or Java).

• working knowledge on one of the scripting language like shell, Perl, Python etc.

• Should have experience and understanding of any one source code management system CVS, VSS, SVN, GIT etc.

Desired Functional/ Technical Skills:

• Understanding of Weblogic architecture and configuration, Understanding of multi-tier product architecture and integrations with any middleware product.

• Good if the candidate have worked on Oracle Billing and Revenue Management product before.

• Understanding on Cloud Native concepts.

• Good problem solving , troubleshooting & communication skills & right attitude to accept challenges.

• Should have experience working on waterfall or Agile/Scrum or iterative model projects and should be flexible to work on DevOps environment.

• Inter personal skills.

• Willingness to Travel
