Job Description
Partners with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. Drives Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services including discovery, design and deployment.
Responsible for participating in customer engagements to collaboratively design and implement solutions. Displays product/application understanding through more customized presentation demonstrations to customers and at conferences and events. May work directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures and translates business needs into solutions. Implements solutions and ensures successful deployments through code development and scripting. Supports customer from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training. Creates and distributes technical assets (white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations). Serves as a technical point of contact for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success. Further builds business and technical acumen.
Minimum qualifications include: 2 – 5 years experience with computer applications and tools required. Ability to travel 25% international and domestic.
Preferred but not required qualifications include: Bachelor of Science-level university degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering from accredited university; and/or relevant 2-5 years technical experience. Expertise in system and application design with written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Become a go-to resource for design and hands-on delivery for Database 11g/12C, Database Cloud, APPS Database, and APPS Database Cloud-based solutions
Provide high-quality solutions to the customers and lead the effort in process modeling, implementation, testing, training, and support
Help the Oracle Database Cloud team to establish standards and develop reusable components and help develop a strong collaborative environment
Continuously develop professional and technical knowledge by participating in development communities, attending workshops, and pursuing relevant certifications.
Identify and quickly escalate potential issues with solution design, packaged software, client resources, or anything else that impacts your ability to deliver according to expectations
Required Skills:
A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience on Oracle Database 12C, Database Cloud with the below mandatory skills:
Experience in database migration, cloning, and upgrades
Multitenancy (CDB) Concepts
Installation. Configuration of 12c CDB/PDB
PDB Cloning
TDE Concept and troubleshooting
PSU / OJVM patching
Backup and Recovery of Multitenancy database
Troubleshooting and performance tuning using AWR, ASH, ADDM, OEM SQL Analyzer
Database upgrade 11g to 12c (CDB/PDB)
DG configuration for 12c (Multitenancy)
Database Service name configuration and troubleshooting
RAC architecture concepts and hands-on
Conversion of Non-CDB to PDB/CDB
OEMDBA desired skills CI/Networking VCN, subnet, security list Concepts
Conceptual Knowledge of Private and Public key
Troubleshooting and conceptual knowledge of 12c CDB/PDB
OEM Installation and implementation
Exadata working knowledge
Migration and cloning for Cross-platform using different approach
Shell scripts/Linux/Unix shell scripts, cronjobs, and SQL scripts
Oracle Cloud Architecture
Oracle ExaCC/ExaCS Patching and maintenance of grid infrastructure and database
DB system provisioning on the cloud
Exposure to Golden Gate replication tool
Excellent written and verbal skills are essential
Strong consulting skills to work in a professional manner with customer IT and business users
Experience on any cloud platform Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS, Google
