Job Description
Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.
Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Banking Consulting Europe which is a part of EMEA Region under ‘FSGBU – Consulting’ delivers Oracle Technology and Applications solutions for clientele in the European region. The service offerings include Application Implementation, Managed Services and Customization development services for Oracle Financial Services Software Banking products.

Desired Skills & Experience
Primary Skills
3 to 8 years of experience in Java & J2EE.
• Experience & knowledge and skills in software programming in Core Java, JavaScript, XML, Webservices, REST Services. Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL is an added advantage.
• Expertise on ADF is required in addition to above
• Knowledge and experience on agile software development practices.
• Should have experience on version control system (preferably GIT), build tools (Maven/Gradle), Continuous Integration tools(Jenkins).
• Should have the ability to design and develop integration solutions
• Should be able lead small teams and independently deliver software components
• Should understand software quality measurements and adhere to achieve quality targets
• Should have the skill to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Should be able to groom junior members of the team
• Possess good communication skills
• Lending and Leasing business knowledge is an advantage
• Good to have working knowledge on Cloud integration patterns
• Should have hands on experience in writing JUNIT test cases
Experience
Experience of 3 to 7 years
Experience in development and / or implementation and / or support of core banking applications.
Educational and Other Qualifications
Work Environment
Should be willing to work at offshore as well as travel to client locations
Should be willing to take up FLEXCUBE Technical certifications in functional areas as and when required.
Ability to work in a high pressure, fast moving and challenging environment
Team player
Should be able to work on shifts on rotation basis based on project needs
