Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle Revenue Management and Billing Software Designer (Banking)
Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) provides pricing, billing, and accounts receivable capabilities to tier 1 banks around the world and the leading healthcare insurance providers in the US. To maintain our leading position, we are seeking exceptional people who have a passion for delivering world class solutions.
As an ORMB banking product designer you will help build features that will help retail and corporate banks re-imagine their Pricing, Billing and Payments solutions. ORMB runs both on premises and as a SaaS platform utilizing the latest cloud technology stacks.
This is mid-level product design position, ideally filled by a fully competent functional designer with experience in banking and/or billing solutions.
Job Description:
As a Product Designer (Banking) for ORMB, you will transform requirements into functional designs for user experiences, APIs, data models, and background processes to enhance the product’s ability to support financial services billing needs.
You will work closely with product management, development, performance, documentation, and support team members and occasionally clients, to ensure your solutions:
align with the product direction
fulfil the stated requirements
can be understood by all stakeholders
can be technically delivered to the required level of performance and usability
follow product design standards
can be quickly adopted by customers
are well documented for users and implementers
You will apply modern design techniques, assist with shaping design standards, share knowledge readily and clearly with other team members and stakeholders and will ideally take ownership of a functional area of the application.

Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver high quality functional designs.
Validate and challenge requirements based on your experience in both the relevant functional domain and in design processes.
Share with and confidently promote your designs to team members, approvers, and other stakeholders.

Follow design and documentation standards.
Maintain relevant domain and technology knowledge.
Be passionately focused on delivering the best solution; relentlessly pursue providing an excellent customer experience for the product all the time.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and compliance with internal processes and procedures.

Demonstrate strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, partners, customers, and senior management.
Effectively apply Oracle’s methodologies, policies, and procedures.
Ideal Candidate should have the following qualifications/skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Business or Computer Science from a reputed college/university.
Outstanding solutioning skills. History of delivering extraordinary solutions to product delivery and/or clients.
Ability to handle a variety of different projects simultaneously; adapts quickly and easily – manages multiple deadlines and multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent collaboration skills. Works effectively as part of multiple, varied project teams and demonstrates genuine commitment to team success.
Takes initiative and ownership. Proactive, results-oriented, with a can-do spirit in meeting critical deadlines.
Must be comfortable in fast paced and sometimes ambiguous work situations.
Keen attention to detail and complex problem-solving abilities from operational, business and technical perspective.
A “Go-getter” who focuses on continuous self-improvement and desire to stay abreast of emerging market trends and technologies.

Prior financial system implementation or product development experience.
Exposure to Banking or other financial services sector organizations highly desirable.
Experience with Billing, A/R or Accounting systems/processes highly desirable.
Experience with ORMB or other OUAF products highly desirable.
