Job Description
Work with Oracle’s world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle’s global infrastructure.
As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
Monitor automated alerts from various monitoring systems. in 24X7 environment
Running Major incident calls by playing different roles (Incident command, Communicator, Scribe) in 24X7 environment
Interact with the Customer Support Organization in the capacity of Tier 3 customer support.
Work with Product Engineering, Service Engineering and support to manage issues
Resolve problems by executing Standard Operating Procedures. Provide feedback to enhance Standard Operating Procedures.
Identify and implement improvements to the team’s processes.
Perform routine checks at the start of shifts.
Develop training for other team members.
Coding skills and Automation of tasks is a must
Other specific projects as required.
Working in mission critical production environment
Participating in Crisis event by providing the quick resolution with proper update with in SLA and time interval
Resolve problems by executing Standard Operating Procedures. Provide feedback to enhance Standard Operating Procedures and create the new Standard Operating Procedures
Develop training for other team members
Key skills requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Electric Engineering or equivalent.
Strong knowledge on Unix/Linux/window OS – is a Must
Application support experience in SaaS (software as a service) environment –is a Must
Strong knowledge on SQL ( writing query, Joins, View, Hint etc) – Execute, debug and test SQL programs
Familiarity with the Docker/Kubernetes container for microservice implementation
Strong knowledge on Tomcat stack (Apache, Mysql, PHP) –is a Must
Strong knowledge on scripting (Shell, Python, Java Script)
Understanding of the concepts 3 tier web application stacks Good troubleshooting skills
Strong knowledge of Oracle, Sql server database
Knowledge on Grafana, Kibana or any equivalent Monitoring tool (AppD, Splunk)
Understanding Api calls

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Background
DevSecOps background
Excellent understanding of Linux OS and its command line admin tools.
Understanding of relational database concepts.
Good grounding in Oracle SQL and query optimization.
Use of administration tools such as TOAD or SQL Developer.
Experience with Oracle Database a strong plus.
Working knowledge of web services, Apache, Tomcat, and WebLogic
Web servers and Application servers experience.
Hands on experience supporting Web Applications, REST and SOAP API
Understanding of SMTP and e-mail delivery
Use of SVN or GIT or Circle CI code control tool an advantage.
AI/ML knowledge can be an advantage.
