May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
LOB specific role requirements:
The Applications Consulting practice of Oracle GSC is looking to further strengthen its cloud transformation journey by adding a strong project manager to the team. This multi-faceted role involves managing applications implementation projects for Oracle Cloud SCM, contribution to bids and proposals and contribution to practice development.
The KPIs would broadly cover project success, individual utilisation, contribution to order booking and contribution to practice development
The ideal candidate would have at least 12-16 years of work experience in the IT industry with a good experience and exposure to delivery of IT services. We look for an BE/MBA/MCA/CA who is passionate about delivery of IT services and looks to work with customers in challenging yet exciting and dynamic transformation projects. The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a highly motivated and self driven individual, who pursues excellence.
Ability to work in a dynamic, high energy, and intense work environment is a must. Candidate should be willing to undertake some travel (50%)

Role expectations/attributes:
14-18 years of experience relevant to this position in ERP, SCM application implementations, preferably in Oracle Ecosystem
At least 3 years in managing end to end implementation projects including customer facing roles independently
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Good experience in managing project across all phases inception to closure
Experience talking to customer key users, senior executives, appreciating business needs and nuances, project situations. Ability to balance conflicting needs and drive the project successfully forward.
Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to build rapport with team members and clients
Ability to travel as needed
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
Self-motivated, excellent work ethic, goal oriented and strong team player
