Job Description
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
Responsibilities
We are looking for talented software engineer who can get things done to our Oracle Recruiting Cloud(ORC) team. We have a unique working environment where great engineers thrive. We are a well-organized software shop with lightweight processes for continuous integration, code reviews, proper versioning control and unit testing that help us be more productive. ORC is the next generation SaaS offering for Oracle’s Enterprise Cloud Customers to meet their end-to-end hiring needs – those who are successful in Oracle HCM Cloud eco-system as well those who integrate with other HRMS.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with UI Engineers and UX Designer to to deliver API design with technical feasibility.
• Deliver features as per business priorities in a distributed environment.
• Understand application features using existing documentation and dig deeper using source code to become SMEs
• Independently determine root causes of application failures and work closely with the development to drive resolution of bugs.

Requirements:
• BS or MS degree (in Computer Science or related discipline) or equivalent.
• Work Experience :
o Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Java back end development role in agile SDLC environment
o Any Experience with Oracle ADF is highly welcome
o Any front end exposure in Javascript, nodeJS, HTML, CSS highly welcome
• Technical Stack
o Backend Stack: Java, ADF, Oracle Database (SQL-PL/SQL), Oracle Weblogic, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, SaaS/PaaS,
o Frontend technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, Oracle JET, Knockout, React
o Subject-matter expert in Java7/8/9, Spring Framework, REST metholodogies
• Preferred Skills
o Experience with developing web applications or web sites optimized for mobile platforms using responsive UI design concepts
o Experience with end-end Agile SDLC: design, code, unit-test, peer-review, integrate, build and ship software within sprint-wise commit and delivery models
o Experience with working in Agile development methodology especially SCRUM
o Exposure to debugging complex systems
o Exposure to Security and Performance aspects would be a plus
• Strong Plus
o Experience with ADF
o Experience with architectural patterns such as MVVC, REST, Web APIs
• Passion for design and great attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English); ability to communicate design concepts to various types of audiences
