Oracle Hiring for Senior Database Engineer at HYDERABAD, India Full Time

Job Description

Oracle NetSuite is looking for a Senior Database Engineer to act as a problem-solving expert on Oracle RAC systems. You will play significant role in analyzing and resolving operational errors, building solutions, and pioneering leading-edge cloud software on the world’s most powerful and performant database platform. It is also an opportunity to learn aspects of Exadata and Cloud Services from an Oracle internal perspective, and in the near future work with Autonomous Database, Oracle’s next-generation cloud data platform. A highly qualified candidate may be considered for a Principal Engineer position in this job application.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of UNIX, Linux

• Shell, python and/or perl scripting experience

• Solid understanding of Oracle multitenant and RAC architecture.

• Extensive understanding of AWR, ASH reports & performance tuning.

• RAC performance diagnostics (Shared disk system, Clusterware, Interconnects, Kernel)

• Knowledge of Exachk and CRSCTL

• Experience with Exadata OS Patching, Grid Patching and/or DB Home patching.

• Understanding of RMAN Backup/recovery configurations will be ideal

• Aware of ASM/Shared storage concepts.

• Co-ordinate with operations and infrastructure teams for resolution

Good To Have:

• SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, or ASP environment experience

• Used tools like Oracle Real Application Testing, SwingBench or HammerDB

• Oracle ADG
