Job Description

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle Recruiting Customer Success QA Team is looking for a Principal Quality Engineer. Customer Success QA team is a front-line QA team responsible for the verification and certification of Customer-centric items for all recruiting products under the HCM Cloud Business Unit. Essential Functions: System quality assurance. Main responsibilities include:

• Review design specifications and write test plans, create/improve/automate test cases

• Execute test cases, analyze test results, file bugs and verify bug fixes, and provide test reports

• Work with other engineering teams to reproduce and debug issues

• Improve test tools, test environment, test process, test effectiveness, and test efficiency

• Provide technical support in project QA activities.

• Analyse and troubleshoot QA-related issues in a timely fashion.

• Ensure that project is delivered within allotted timelines and budgets.

• Review project deliverables and ensure they meet quality standards.

• Review and recommend improvements to existing QA processes.

• Develop new testing tools and processes to achieve desires QA goals.

• Implement continuous process improvements to enhance testing efficiency.

• Maintain an automated test environment and perform unit, functional, and stress testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Computer Science/Engineering, or related discipline

• 3-12 years of hands-on experience in Web application Testing, automation with Selenium & Java

Must have skills

• Well versed with Selenium, Java, Cucumber, GIT, Jenkins, and SQL

• Well versed with automation tests execution and triaging

• Experience working with cucumber framework

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Well Versed with Testing Processes and Bug Life Cycle

Good to have skills

• Perl scripting, Python scripting & cloud services

• Experience working in a Recruiting domain
