As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

This will include various activities like architecture, designs, prototypes, coding & implementation, bug fixing, product release and post release customer support. Apart from designing & coding the features owned by yourself, you will be expected to technically guide a team of bright developers throughout the product life cycle. As a member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and managing containerized services by leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm etc. Preferred Skills and Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of Software Development Experience of which 4+ years in large-scale design and development of enterprise software products and Cloud Services focusing on development of scalable, multi-tenant cloud applications Experience in building Cloud services with scalability, high availability/failover, security, data transformation and configuration management. (desirable) Deep technical skills of Python, Java, Scripting, JSON, XML, SSH, FTP, Web 2.0, HTML5, Apache Mina, Cloud enablement, Networking & Network Topologies and micro services etc. Strong working knowledge of containers, container orchestration, networking, docker, Kubernetes, Helm. Microservices design and architecture. Prior experience using Micronaut/Spring Boot etc. (desirable) Knowledge of REST / JSON API design Good working knowledge of DevOps Tools like Gradle, Maven, GIT, Ansible, Jenkins/Hudson/TeamCity, Docker, Kubernetes, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, UpGrad etc. Deep understanding and commitment to product quality and automation, including values such as scalability, performance, reliability, code health, and maintainability. Exhibits traits such as insisting on the highest standards, bias for action, vocally self-critical, willing to push boundaries and think big Prior experience with agile methodologies Ability to troubleshoot distributed containerized applications. Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Hands-on development experience on one of the cloud platforms Oracle Cloud Infrastructure/GCP/AWS/Azure (desirable) Effective written and verbal communication skills.
