Health Sciences Consulting India is the offshore (India) arm of Oracle HSC (Health Sciences Consulting) that provides services offering to the customers using Oracle Health Sciences products globally. The services include product implementations, upgrades and migration, expert services on Oracle health sciences products and managed services.

Role description

Health Sciences Consulting India is looking for Staff Consultant – Argus Safety. Primary role of the consultant is to contribute in end to end drug safety (Argus) system implementation which covers customer interactions, participate in workshop, design, system configuration, develop scripts, system installation, and post production support.

Typical projects include implementation, customization, upgrades & enhancements of Oracle Health Sciences products both on-premises and on cloud. Principal consultant shall take complete ownership of end to end activities during product implementation cycles by providing domain, Oracle drug safety products & services and solution skills in an individual as well as team capacity.

Key technical areas include Argus Safety, Configuration, PV, GAMP5, E2B R2/R3, PL/SQL, and Implementation.

Key responsibilities include

• Participate in the business workshop with customer for gathering requirements, configuration details and conference room pilots

• Development of design documents based on discussion with customer

• Design and development of extensive product customization

• Configuration of aggregate reports such as, PADER, DSUR, CSPR etc.

• Develop scripts using PL/SQL programing.

• Contribute in end to end implementation of Argus system

• Very strong understanding of product internals, Application data structure and database to resolve complex queries raised by customer

• Strong E2B and ICSR concepts and experience in setting up ESTRI Gateways with health authorities

• Experience in product implementation for Japan customers and understanding of PMDA regulations will be plus

Desired Skills

• Thorough knowledge of Argus Configurations including reporting Rules, Workflows, E2B, Aggregate Reporting, EDI

• Hands on development /customization designing

• Hands experience in PL/SQL programing.

• Ability to work with culturally diverse and virtual teams

• Hands-on working attitude

• Open to International travel to customer locations for meetings and discussions

Qualifications (Must):

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the IT /Software Solutions & Services Industry

• Implementation experience of PV products with at least 1 customers

• Very strong Oracle database skills, proficient in Oracle PL/SQL

• Data modeling skills

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree

As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.

1-3 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates competence in a minimum of one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
