This is a full-time salaried position for residents India. You must be located and authorized to work in India without further documentation or work visa. All positions in India, including this one, are planned to be remote, work-from-home roles. No overseas candidates will be considered. No third-party or agency candidates will be considered.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Develops business systems solutions/applications to automate business processes and improve work efficiency
• Revises and updates existing programs and completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
• Works as part of the project team responsible for converting the Detailed Design into a working system
• Writes and unit-tests programs within agreed time frames
• Ability to clearly define and execute unit-test cases, including documenting predicted to actual results
• Provide ongoing assistance and support to other developers / team members
• Provide user support during system testing and client testing phases
• Review (including Quality Assurance) and provide feedback on programs written by peers
• Ability to update Detailed Designs based on Solution Blueprints
• Provide quality assurance by walk-thru of programs
• Write high quality working programs
• Identify and articulate program design and performance risks
• Develop prototypes and/or proof of concept applications
• Create custom code packages, release notes and installation guide.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology curriculum is required. Advanced degree(s) will receive preference.

Experience:

• Experience in a package software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology
• Oracle Utilities CC&B development experience, with understanding of Oracle Utilities CC&B applications and development procedures
• Experience in testing of Oracle Utilities CC&B subsystems
