ORRA Fine Jewellery Looking For Financial Controller at Mumbai, Maharashtra, Full Time

Brief Summary

The role will be key in scaling & making financial systems and processes world-class, especially as

we are into a hyper-growth stage. In this role, the person will coordinate with Statutory & Internal Auditors with respect to the timeliness of audits and implementation of control improvements identified. The role will also lead the automation of end-to-end processes, including the implementation of new ERP.

This position reports to the CFO and will be part of his leadership team. The position will be coordinating with Tax, Legal / Secretarial, and FP&A, sub-teams of Finance, to deliver high-quality Finance team outcomes, on time, every time.

Brief Job Description (just an indicative list and not limited to the following)

1. Develop financial plans and forecasting through budgets and business plan process.

2. Build and manage the finance infrastructure and team to support the growing business.

3. Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to deliver ambitious revenue and profit growth targets.

4. Input into business strategy to drive the expansion of the existing business.

5. Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities.

6. Implement financial systems, processes, and controls.

7. Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.

8. Monitor the funding, maintaining the cash balances, cash forecasts, arrange for debt financing and equity financing.

9. Maintain banking relationships and represent the company with investment bankers and investors.

1. Streamlining accounting functions and operations.

Experience

1. Chartered Accountant with minimum 15 years’ experience.
2. Should have served in capacity of Financial Controller at least 3 years.
3. Candidates from Retail Industry will be preferred.

Desired Skills

1. Good Communication and Presentation Skills
2. Chartered Accountant (Mandatory), preferably with Big 4 experience
3. Managed a Team of 15+, including professionally qualified employees.
4. Passion for driving simplification and automation.
