1. To type and take dictation in shorthand and transcribe it accurately;
2. To maintain a list of officers (with their official as well as residential telephones and addresses) with whom the officer is likely to have official dealings;
3. Keep an accurate list of engagements, meetings, events, etc. Handle technical issues in their area of expertise
4. stenographer must stay focused and alert when transcribing. Employer expectations of performance are high.
5. Keep records and reports up to date. Help maintain the budget plan.
