Job Description

Work with test management team, software development engineers and product owners to understand the overall technical architecture and feature implemented

• Define & implement test automation framework using industry’s best practices
• Define, establish and enforce automation testing strategy and test methodologies to support testing product functionality for COE landscape
• Define automation testing process aligning with Agile & DevOps model for NVS
• Develop and execute automated tests and test plans for web & mobile applications.
• Efficiently execute & maintain automated test scripts across all functional areas of our products.
• Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution.
• Interpret and report testing results for quality in every phase of the development process.
• Act as the Champion for quality for each release
• Mentor other test engineers & automation engineers as we continue to grow our team
• Create trainings, workshops & handbooks
• Proactively contribute ideas & solutions in identifying areas for improvement.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT / computer science.

• Minimum of 7+ years of automation testing experience
• Strong experience in building and using automation frameworks using technologies: Java, Selenium, Python.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages including Python / Java
• Knowledge on test automation frameworks for web & mobile applications
• Working experience in designing, implementing and understanding of Automation Test Strategy
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life-cycle
• Strong experience in Agile project & product implementations
• Strong QA and Automation background with experience in creating automation test plans, reviews, write & execute test cases, test scripts and publish testing results/dashboards.
• Experience in doing in-sprint automation
• Experience with mobile test automation
• Experience working with cloud computing (AWS and/or Azure)
• Experience with CI/CD (TeamCity, Azure DevOps, and/or Jenkins) integrating testing frameworks
• Good understanding of security aspects of testing web & mobile applications throughout SDLC
• Able to demonstrate, create trainings / guidance / handbook
• Knowledge on industry’s latest testing tools, trends & technology
• Strong written and verbal communications skills; able to effectively present to varied audiences, problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
• Knowledge on content management system (Drupal) is preferred
