Pidilite Industries Limited Hiring for Assistant Manager / Manager – Sourcing RM at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India Full Time

1.Sourcing

1. Gather information on latest technology, chemistries and market trends to recommend the insights and actions to internal teams like RnD, Purchase.
2. To look out for the opportunities for strategic sourcing. by scanning Import/Export Data, Online portals like SpecialChem, Smartchem, Chem Analyst etc.

2. Risk Mitigation

1. Support Sr. Mgr in identification & qualification of alternate new Vendors to reduce the dependency/risk. Collaborate with RnD, operations, divisions and purchase to identify the risks and support Sr. Mgr in setting priorities for various initiatives like single source elimination, BIS mitigation, geographical risk mitigation etc.
2. Implementation of risk mitigation strategies to counter the same.

3. New RM and Vendor Development

1. Work in close co-ordination with RnD team and other cross-functional team for executions of NPI (New Product Introduction) programs.
2. Selection and Development of New Vendors. Visits vendors and assess their capability and alignment with Pidilite ways of working, COC, policy.
3. Manages and executes the entire life cycle of the project till handover of the raw material to Purchase including sampling, product approval process, specification alignment, trial orders with support of purchase and RnD teams. Execute within the targeted turnaround times from request to delivery.

4.Productivity Improvement

1. Track the productivity initiatives and ensure that achievement as per savings card plan.
2. Track SOB compliance for the developed alternate sources and aligned buyer if deviation is observed.

5.Process Adherence

1. Ensure MOM for monthly meetings with R&D and purchase is circulated.
2. Assist in monthly updates for various projects and risks.
3. Process adherence of vendor onboarding platform and manages the process for creation of required Sourcing PO as per SPPBM and initiate price approval.
4. Tracks all the projects and does obstacle busting to expedite the process. Status of projects is tracked in sharepoint. Highlights to Sr. Manager for expediting projects.
5. Creates HOTO sheet for handing over the raw material to buying team.
6. Creates price approval request(BTP/VK) and tracks the Purchase order for execution. Leverages the buying team for logistics support for material delivery.

Education – B.Sc chemistry / B.E chemical

Experience – 8 to 12 Years
