Job Description

Purpose : Piramal Swasthya is looking for Application Support Engineers for all the L2 tickets and coordinate with IT vendor to resolve the application issues and maintain the SLA.Department: ITEssential QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalentEssential Experience

• 2-4 years

Essential Skills

• Demonstrable experience as an application support engineer in a related field

• Practical experience of Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS and networking

• Proficiency in determining the causes of application errors and resolving them

• Ability to keep up with innovation in application support role

• Understanding of change and release management

• Eye to detail and good communication skill

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsible to drive all technical and functional issues towards closure Diagnosis, investigation, resolution, coordination with business, application owners, infrastructure support To assist with the support of internal applications and infrastructure Package install, upgrades in different environments. Deployment of patches in multiple environments and tracking the same. Previous experience dealing with support cases or requests via e-mail, telephone and in person Ensuring that client systems are fully operational, and any loss of service is restored in a timely and efficient manner Providing a high level of service to stakeholders and adhering to our strict SLAs for response and restoration times Problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, major incident management Deployment of service releases, patches, requests and customization Ensure that solution and application support documentation is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy SQL Server administration and SQL Backups, Schedulers, Services monitoring Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
