The Job
Lead the program management activities related to the Vulnerability and Threat management program, including risk/threat assessment, remediation governance, execution, reporting of cyber risks and vulnerabilities.
Leading and guiding team members for effective and proactive Vulnerability management across enterprise assets/devices etc.
As a technical lead, subject matter experts in any VM tool (Qualys/Rapid 7/Nessus etc.) and willing to showcasevarietyof dashboard/use case to show case vulnerability data point.
As technical lead, responsible for identifying, evaluating, and treating security vulnerabilities in different systems and software
Working experience in cross functional tower to ensure vulnerability remediation governance.
Working experience in handling technical challenges for cloud infrastructure Vulnerability management program.
Knowledge in understanding cloud environment with different modules/cloud component etc.
Work with the business units to effectively communicate the risks of identified vulnerabilities and make recommendations regarding the selection of cost-effective security controls to mitigate identified risks
Prepare detailed cyber security vulnerability metrics and reports for all Business Units and executive leadership.
Advance knowledge in CVSS scoring, Vulnerability severity and criticality. Also understand the right metrics to measure the overall VM coverage/KPI and remediation scoring.
Prepare detailed cyber security vulnerability metrics and reports for all Network Devices/Servers/Workstations etc.
Be the primary technical interface to business units, third party partners and stakeholders on vulnerability management.
As a VM lead to ensure, producing and evaluating documentation related to vulnerability management programs and processes.
Be the subject manner expert in Certificate Management
Qualifications & Skills required
6-8 years of experience in driving end to end Vulnerability management program across enterprise.
Identify potential gaps and reactivity within the threat management landscape.
Deep understating in Vulnerability detection, False positive analysis and Threat mitigation.
Excellent communication and reporting experience to management.
Handson technical expertise in any VM tool (Qualys/Rapid 7 etc.)
Deep understanding in cloud infrastructure for Vulnerability management program.
4-8 plus years’ professional experience in IT and/or Cybersecurity, preferably with an Enterprise Vulnerability Management Team
Significant demonstrated knowledge of vulnerability management processes and tools to include scanning patching, hardening, configuration, and risk management
Demonstrated communication skills to communicate, persuade, influence without authority, and handle challenging conversations
Significant demonstrated knowledge of vulnerability management processes and tools to include scanning patching, hardening, configuration, and risk management.
Advanced Knowledge of CVSS vulnerability metrics
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science or equivalent
Information Security Certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, and/or CISM
Knowledgeable and experienced in:
Vulnerability Management tools (Qualys)
Certificate Management (DigiCert, AppviewX)
JIRA Service Desk
Confluence
