Investment Banking Manager – India – Mumbai

Your role.

This position will be responsible for providing various analytical and data-driven components for the development of M&A transactions. Specifically, the manager’s role focuses on overseeing the financial modeling, industry and company research, and preparation of selling documents, and other transaction-related documents in collaboration with a team of analysts. Your work will include, but not be limited to:

• Oversight and accuracy of analyst duties, including review of modeling, research methodology, and presentations

• Assist in hiring and training new analysts

• Liaison between deal teams in the US and analysts in India

• Staffing analyst team in India across a variety of projects

• Aid in analyst performance reviews

• Researching industries and/or companies to be used for prospective buyer’s lists, industry overviews, general knowledge, buying trends, and practice development

• Developing and manipulating financial models and/or valuations for financing, structure, and cash flow feasibility

• Assist in the preparation of client presentations and pitch materials

• Other ad hoc research and presentation tasks

  Education & Experience

• Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in Accounting or Finance

• IPCC/PE II cleared and /or MBA Finance would be preferred

• Three-Four years+ post-qualification experience with demonstrated knowledge of working in a similar function

  · Thorough financial statement analysis skills
