About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR leader to join our team. You will play a critical role in shaping our talent strategy, fostering a positive work culture, and driving people initiatives to support our growth and success. This role offers a high equity opportunity, allowing the People Success Leader to have a direct impact on the Plum’s growth and success while sharing in its long-term value and potential.

Requirements

• Talent Acquisition and Management
• You will own end-to-end talent acquisition efforts at Plum, ensuring the recruitment of high-quality talent to support the company’s growth
• Develop a comprehensive hiring strategy to attract top talent and run a streamlined hiring process
• Actively engage with potential candidates, effectively selling Plum as an employer of choice
• Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leadership in identifying key talent needs. Help leaders to manage organisational changes
• Drive the goal of 100% retention of A+ talent
• Provide guidance aligned with business objectives, ensuring HR strategies and initiatives enhance employee experience and support organisational growth
• Coach managers and employees on HR policies, practices, and procedures to create a positive and productive work environment
• Create a reputation for Plum as an organisation known for providing the best employee experience
• Invent and implement initiatives that foster a supportive and inclusive work environment, enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction
• Oversee people operations processes, including onboarding, employee benefits, performance management, compensation, and HRIS management, to streamline operations and improve efficiency
• Given Plum’s target audience of CHROs, you will lead the development of a CHRO community for Plum, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among HR professionals
• Collaborate with product and business teams to identify and define HR needs, shaping Plum’s offerings to meet those requirements effectively
• Proven track record of working at an organisation known for its talent density and strong culture, demonstrating your ability to thrive in high-performing environments
• Experience working in organisations with more than 500 employees, showcasing your understanding of scale and the challenges that come with it
• Demonstrated stability and commitment in past organisations, with a consistent tenure of 5 to 10 years, reflecting your dedication and long-term contributions
• Possess a minimum of 15+ years of experience in the HR function, showcasing your deep expertise and comprehensive understanding of HR practices and strategies
• Strong hands-on capability in independently identifying and hiring high-quality talent, demonstrating your keen eye for talent acquisition
• Hands-on experience as an HR Business Partner (HRBP), showcasing your ability to provide strategic HR guidance and support to business leaders
• Respected as a leader in the HR community, and possess strong opinions and thought leadership on people practices and HR strategies, showcasing your ability to think critically and contribute innovative ideas to advance the HR function
