Poly is seeking an experienced RPA Lead to join our dynamic, highly successful Westminster based IT team. As a RPA Lead working on enterprise scale automations, you will be making a positive impact on how our users engage with work and accomplish business goals. You’ll gain career-expanding experience across a wide cross-section of IT automation activities, business process reengineering and taking advantage of the latest technologies like document recognition, application integration and AI to help create intelligent automations that solve critical business challenges.
Your day to day

• Analyze, Design, develop, deploy and manage sustainable automation solutions based on well-defined requirements
• Participates in the automation candidate evaluation and prioritization process
• Serve as an RPA and UiPath “subject matter expert” (SME) to internal Poly users
• Assess “as is” business processes, identify opportunities for improvement & innovation. Propose “to be” process that is efficient, scalable, and extensible by leveraging automation technology.
• Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to review and refine business process workflows including identifying areas of possible simplification.
• Create detailed Process Definition Document (PDD) & Technical Definition Document (TDD). Co-authors and maintains solution design documentation.
• Help define standards & best practices for RPA technologies
• Conduct code reviews with peers to ensure architecture guidelines are maintained.
• Ensures quality of coded components by performing thorough unit testing.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies and procedures for security, compliance, etc.
• Monitor and maintain automations in production on a routine basis.
• Mentor and coach RPA team members including SI partner resources
• Pursues knowledge of new technologies and methodologies to improve productivity and efficiency.

What you bring to the team

• Bachelor’s (BSc) in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of Professional experience in IT / Eng. / Professional services roles.
• Strong experience as a UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) for at least 3 years
• Deep understanding of RPA concepts and technologies
• Professional experience in programming languages like VB Script, .NET, Java, REST, SQL etc.
• Experience working with Enterprise applications (Salesforce, Oracle ERP, ServiceNow, Jira etc.), Knowledge OCR tools like Abbyy Flexicapture is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate and partner work with IT business analysts, programmers, vendors and business end users in cross functional teams within a virtual/remote environment
• Strong Problem-Solving, Analytical and interpersonal skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills especially Excel.
• Possesses strong communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience
• Familiarity with Agile principles as applied to software development
• Familiarity with version control, job scheduling and configuration management tools
• Understanding of formal change control, incident management and defect management disciplines
• RPA COE experience a plus
