Powerplay Hiring for Data Engineer at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Full Time
As a data engineering intern at Powerplay, you will work on a variety of projects to help build and maintain the infrastructure and pipelines needed to process, store, and analyse large datasets. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers, architects and data analysts to design and implement scalable data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to design and implement data pipelines and databases
- Develop, test, and maintain data processing jobs using tools such as SQL and Python
- Assist in the management and maintenance of the databases (SQL, NoSQL)
- Contribute to the improvement of data quality and accuracy through data cleansing and transformation efforts
- Participate in code and design reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of the data pipelines
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Strong programming skills, particularly in Python and SQL
- Good understanding of database design and SQL/NoSQL
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and take ownership of projects
- Hands-on experience and understanding of cloud services like AWS/GCP
