Job Description:
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from reputed Engineering college.

Experience: min 4 to 10 years of Designing Experience in Solid Works & Autocad, Heavy fabrication, Structural design & welding symbols.

Budgeted CTC LPA(Lacs per annum): 5.0 to 7.0 Lakhs

Company & Work location: MNC company at Pirangut in Pune

Facilities: Bus facility

Job Brief

1. Mechanical graduate with strong academic background and experience in Solid Works/Equivalent Software.

2. Require Modeling, drafting, Sheet metal and Weldment experience.

3. Strong knowledge in GD&T, welding symbols and its applications is must.

4. Good basics on Mechanical Engineering principles, engineering skills.

5. Execute design and CAD modeling projects using SolidWorks.

6. Ensure timeliness and quality of CAD models/drawing as per inputs and standards provided.

Job Responsibilities

1. Understanding of stress analysis, mechanics of materials and the behavior of components and structures under both static and dynamic loading

2. Responsible for Design Conceptualization, Design output (specs and drawings), BOM and release of all parts.

3. Track project schedules in conjunction with product management.

4. Individual should handle the Project (Designing, calculation & manufacturing drawings).

5. Experience in detail engineering.

6. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels.

7. Proper Time management with project report management.

8. Must have the knowledge of manufacturing process.

Additional skills:
1. Hands on experience in Autocad, Solidworks / Equivalent Software-structure design will be added advantage.

2. Knowledge of Material Handling Equipments /Heavy Engineering/ Special purpose machines/ Structural Designing will be added advantage.

3. Proficiency with engineering design programs such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, Solidworks Simulation.

4. Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

6. Time management and organizational skills.

7. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

8. Attentive to detail and critically minded.

9. Strong computer and mathematical skills.

10. Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative.
