Job Description:
Required Qualification: Diploma or B.E. Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engg.

Experience: 2 to 3 yrs exp in Purchase, Vendor development and Production planning activities.

Work location: Rajapur village in Bhor taluka (on Satara road – 30km from Katraj) in Pune

Keys Duties:
1) Forecast levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels.

2) Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.

3) Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers.

4) Identify potential suppliers, visit existing suppliers, build and maintain good relationships with them.

5) Negotiate and agree contracts and monitor their progress, check the quality of service provided.

6) Maintain contract files and refer it as reference for the future.

7) Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.

8) Deliver presentations about market analysis and possible growth.

9) Developing organization’s purchase strategy.

10) Produce reports and statistics using computer software.

11) Ensure suppliers are aware of business objectives.

12) Attend meetings and trade conferences.

13) Maintain records of goods ordered and received.

14) Prepare and process requisitions, purchase orders for supplies and equipment.

15) Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.

16) Select and / or approve new vendor / sub-contractor including calibration agencies, laboratory, testing, inspection, consultancy and transport services based on

A) ISO 9000 certification

B) Customer approval or recommendations.

C) Vendor evaluation

D) Authorized dealers

17) Monitoring of Vendors performance

18) Plan the material and process of work order issued, with priorities in consultation with marketing in charge and as per production and dispatch plan.

19) Responsible for vendor visit and audits.

20) Ensure manufacturing of products based on production schedule, assign personnel, supervise staff, observes control points and equipment’s, organize and monitor work flow.

21) Monitor and control the production activity as per Production plan.

22) Ensure Cleanliness of Shop Floor and equipment’s etc.

23) Implements cost reduction, develops reporting procedures, co-ordinates between departments.

24) Maintains quality services by enforcing organization standards.

25) Maintains and repairs equipment’s, evaluate new equipment’s and techniques

26) Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, analyzing production performance records and data answering questions and responding to results.

27) Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing practices records keeping systems forms of control and budgetary and personnel requirements, implementing changes

28) Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points equipment’s and resources.

29) Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data investigating issues, identifying solutions, recommendation action.

30) Attends educational workshops, review professional publications etc. for knowledge up gradation.

31) Contribute to terms efforts by accomplishments related results as needed.

32) Achieve departmental goal.
