Principal Hiring for Tech Lead – Cloud at Pune, India Full Time

Years of Experience Required: 5-7 years

Job Location: Pune

Job Responsibilities & Skills required:

Python & AWS Cloud Tech Lead (Primary experience in Python along with a statically typed language like Java or C#).

Responsible to develop, test and maintain applications in AWS Cloud Services with established processes while building holistic understanding of the underlying applications and domain. Build, test and support Data integration scripts using Python in overall program/module framework. Infrastructure related responsibilities include planning, installation, configuration, monitoring performance, maintenance, security/compliance, administration and user support.

• 3-6 Years’ experience, prefer Python along with a statically typed language like Java or C#

• 3-5 Years’ experience migrating applications to AWS, prefer experience with serverless technologies

• Understanding and familiarity with common software development patterns, better practices, and anti-patterns

• Has good understanding of AWS Cloud security and infrastructure services. Hands-on experience is must.

• Experience with DevOps practices (TDD, CI, CD, etc.)

• Exposure with working with and integrating multiple vendor software applications

• Experience with databases (we use SQL Server)

• Provide development expertise in broad range of cloud implementations.

• Abilities like problem solving, analytical, time management & decision making, self-motivated

• Must have an engineering mindset, with a strong desire for continual improvement of self, team, and organization

• Proven ability to learn and adapt to multiple data-related services, programming languages, tools, and architecture frameworks.

• Strong technical skills. Knowledge of SDLC. Good aptitude, positive attitude, strong reasoning and communication skills. Must be a good team player. Good analytical skills and research oriented.

Good to have:

• Experiencing hosting applications in Linux. Experience with container strategies and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes)

• Experience with issue/problem tracking systems (e.g., Jira)

• Experience with distributed source code repositories (e.g., Git)

• Solid understanding of Microservices and APIs.

• Advance knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.

•  AWS Cloud Engineering Professional / Associate certification(s) a plus

• Strong engineering mindset. Ability and willingness to work across various Cloud Architecture / SysOps / DevOps initiatives. Ability to deal with ambiguity.

• Develop and manage AWS development and migration programs. Provide technical leadership to a team providing broad range of cloud implementations using Python scripting.

• Build Data Integration scripts using Python to integrate with upstream/downstream systems (within AWS Cloud Services ecosystem)

• Develop application code for programs while following coding standards

• Complete Analysis & documentation as required by the project

• Resolve queries/issues and provide Application/functional support

• Build holistic understanding of applications & underlying domain being supported 

• Assume ownership is support and manage cloud bases applications.

• Continuously monitor to verify the health, integrity, and availability of all IT infrastructure and perform proper capacity planning for current and future demands of IT services.
