Overview of the job

India subcontinent is one of the critical regions for P&G business in AMA (Asia Middle east Africa) region with multiple strong brands. We are looking for an experienced security professional, whose role is to enable Company’s business while maintaining its safety and security by providing advice on a breadth of security risks. Someone who understands and mitigate the security risks, support current business, qualify, and amplify global and regional security initiatives and programs in the Indian sub-continent.

Your team

Located at the P&G Mumbai, you will be part of the India Subcontinent Global Security organization. You will have the opportunity to work with multi-functional teams based out of different sites in ISC. In this role, you will also engage with both internal and external partners.

As India Corporate Security Governance Senior Manager, you will oversee security operations covering geo-political analysis, crisis management, investigations and security operations covering all India P&G sites and its people. The role is a key member of the P&G security team and reports to India Subcontinent Security Leader. You are expected to manage this with remote supervision and be able to work non-traditional hours as needed. You should be comfortable in working in both an office setting and factory setting as well.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a range of complex investigations.
• Provides security leadership to the sites and establishes the regions security business plan.
• Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of on-site P&G security personnel and ensures their actions comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and meet corporate and customer needs.
• Contributes to policies, standards, and training for identifying and protecting intellectual property assets, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, product tampering, espionage, sabotage, or loss.
• Manages complex security improvement programs across business units, service organizations and geographic area of responsibility.
• Develop strong working relationships with internal stake holders, peers and local government and regulatory agencies.
• Implement Physical security standards to include risk assessment and controls, crisis management and process validation.

Job Qualifications

Role Requirements

• 10 to 12 years of relevant security risk management experience in private sector multinationals with preference for experience working in the FMCG industry.
• 2+ experience of People management experience.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably from Science/Law/forensic science.
• Extensive knowledge of physical security standards, processes, and compliances. (CPP / PSP/CFE/ Wicklander & Zulawski certification is a Plus)
• Experience in handling a broad range of security program management including incident management, crisis management, supply chain security and travel security along with investigative experience.

Additional Soft Skills –

• Strong communicator with ability to influence across levels of diverse audiences.
• Creative & analytical thinker capable of proactively analyzing complex challenges and delivering dedicated support.
• Ability to provide direction, build consensus and earn confidence and trust at all levels across the organization.
• Preferably have a working knowledge of Outlook 0365 tools, Power Automate tools & Microsoft Power Platform products (SharePoint, PowerApps, Power BI etc )
