Procyon Technostructure Hiring for US IT RECRUITMENT ACCOUNTING EXECUTIVE at India Full Time

Summary of Essential Responsibilities:

• Ownership of all aspects of accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation and payroll)
• Responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial statements for various periodic deadlines
• Performs month-end closing, prepares journal entries as necessary, analyzes commissions (both payable and receivable)
• Reviews posting of all relevant journal entries for income and expense, AP, AR and GL
• Preparation of all weekly/annual reporting required by Bank and Business Partners
• Preparation of Financial Statements – including BS, P&L and STMT of Cash Flow
• Monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts and preparation of G/L workpapers
• Manages various audits – Regulatory, Bank, Insurance Specific, & Other
• Reviews Accounting controls and implement changes as prescribed
• Responsible for the reporting and analysis of key metrics to Management on a regular basis
• Works closely with CEO and COO, in addition to outside CPA firm and Industry vendors
• Annual Secretary of State filing, local Property Taxes, and local Licenses
• Supervises Accounting staff and actively contributes to team development
• Additional unspecified duties may be performed or assigned in accordance with this role

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of Accounting experience

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Business Administration with Accounting/Finance emphasis
• Insurance industry experience a plus
• Leadership experience and proven ability to manage staff
• Strong MS Excel skills with ability to update and modify formulas, pivot tables, generate dashboards.
• Strong understanding of U.S. Accounting, Taxation & Payroll
• Excellent proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Ability to learn and implement new procedures as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills required in a corporate environment
• Must be detailed oriented with multitasking ability and time management skills needed within a deadline driven environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to independently take a proactive approach to challenges
• A high-level of motivation and ability to prioritize, willingness to take on challenges, and continued interest in professional development

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹20,000.00 – ₹40,000.00 per month
