Lead ORACLE DBA (7+ years of experience)

Specific skill set required

• Candidate should strong in ORACLE PERFORMANCE TUNINNING RAC Container Databases and Oracle DATABASE Design and development skills

• Good understanding of the Oracle database architecture (Single Instance RAC and ASM Multitenant) related utilities and tools on Oracle 12c 18c19c (Multitenant).

• Defining database standards and procedures to cover the instance parameters object sizing storage and naming.

B. E / B. Tech / M. Tech

Work Experience

Total experience of 7+ years with relevant exp in Primary Skills for 4 yrs.

The key job responsibilities include the following:

• Candidate should strong in ORACLE PERFORMANCE TUNINNING RAC Container Databases and Oracle DATABASE Design and development skills

• Good understanding of the Oracle database architecture (Single Instance RAC and ASM Multitenant) related utilities and tools on Oracle 12c 18c19c (Multitenant).

• Defining database standards and procedures to cover the instance parameters object sizing storage and naming.

• The procedures define the process for install/upgrade corporate database requirements security backup/recovery and automate the same.

• A good understanding of the underlying operating system (Linux) and knowledge of network and storage.

• A good knowledge of physical database design and Partition Tables.

Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system (Unix/Linux) performance tuning and monitoring.

• Knowledge of ALL Oracle backup and recovery scenarios.

• Experience in code migration database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle.

• A DBA should be able to work independently on S1 issues and prepare RCA documents. Good knowledge and hands on experience of Oracle high availability solutions like RAC.

• Proficiency with Unix/Linux Shell scripting (Korn Shell (KSH) BASH etc.)

Knowledge of Enterprise Architect or any type of tool is pleasant to have.

• Experience in Azure and oracle cloud is pleasant to have.

• Experience with job scheduling systems (Cron.)

• Re-organizing the tables and schema level refresh using Data pump based on customer request.

• Creating Profiles and setting Password management.

• User Management– Allocating Quota Managing Profiles and Granting/Revoking privileges
