Job Description

Brief on the Organization: The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is working towards building a healthier India. It is helping to address the limited institutional and systems capacity in India by strengthening education and training, advancing research and technology and facilitating policy and practice in the area of Public Health. PHFI is headquartered in New Delhi with national presence through its constituent units of regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and Centers of Applied Research in core public health themes. The Foundation, established in 2006 as a public private initiative, is governed by an independent board comprising of senior government officials, eminent Indian and International academic and leaders, civil society representatives and corporate leaders.

Project Brief:
Cardiology Short Courses Masterclass Series is an online program on selected topics related to cardiovascular diseases (ECG and Heart Failure) with an aims to train primary care physicians from across the country. The course will be delivered in the form of online live webinars, prerecorded sessions and reading materials. The following objectives are envisioned for the course: To enhance the knowledge and core competencies of physicians to interpret ECGs with case based learning and in prevention and management of Heart Failure; To develop/update a standard teaching protocol and modules for evidence-based learning on ECG and Heart Failure; To update the physicians with the latest advancements. It is supported by Sun Pharma Laboratories Ltd. This is the first cycle of the program and aims to train over 1000 primary care physicians. Cycle I is going to launch in June 2022 with 5 experts and 12 faculty.
Deliverables:

• Management and coordination of all components of Cardiovascular disease short courses masterclass program conducted in the framework of an interdisciplinary multi-partner collaboration across the country.
• Serve as associate focal point for the program secretariat for communication with renowned Experts, Faculty and Participants) and Partner Institutions.
• Play an integral Role in organizing and managing resource intensive National Level Meetings; this involves human resource and logistical issues.
• Support overall operations related to implementation of the program (i.e. invitations, enrollments, meetings and workshops, documentation, workshop planning etc.)
• Prepare and disseminate an advanced program implementation plan including critical key activities and milestones, time lines, resources requirement and utilization plan for key components, structure/mechanism to identify bottlenecks, develop algorithms to keep track of process and progress of program.
• Attend and participate in stakeholders meetings, and other meetings as needed.
• Report on a day-to-day basis to the Project Manager regarding project and seek timely advice wherever necessary.
• Contribute to writing documentation papers and reports.
• Communication for program secretariat to communicate with renowned Faculty, Participants and Partner Institutions.
• Coordinating with the partners, sponsors, faculty and trainees to ensure that critical issues are addressed in a timely manner.
• Attend and participate in stakeholders meetings, and other meetings as needed.
• Preparing and disseminating in-advance micro-plans for faculty and participants for perfect conduct of training sessions with seamless networking for real time coordination and communication between partners.
• Conducting and assist in monitoring and quality assurance activities.
• Draft program progress reports, as well as any other reports as per the requirement of the program or as designated by Deputy Director /Project Manager.
• Writing documentation papers and scientific reports.
• Writing proposal and budgets.
• Travel as and when required.
• Any other task as assigned by the Deputy Director, Project Manager & Project PI.

Qualification:
Desirable:

• Post graduate degree in Public Health/PGDHM/PGDPHM with Public Health Experience.
• Proactive, self-motivated individual with willingness to travel at a short notice and able to manage workload as and when required.
• Experience of conduction of training and development of training material, proposal writing, project management, experience of the liaison with the diverse stakeholder is desirable.
• Person working in National level Training Program in non-communicable disease (NCD’s) esp. in cardiovascular disease will be an added advantage.
