Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced React.js developer who will kickstart the user-facing front end for the product
• Own the product and work with the technical and product leadership to convert ideas into a great product
• Translation of designer mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code
• Stay abreast of latest front-end technologies and patterns and proactively find ways to apply them to the business problem

Experience

• 2-3 years of work experience developing web applications using modern front end frameworks
• 1+ years of work experience working with react.js and associated ecosystem libraries
• BE/B Tech or higher preferably in Computer Science

Required Skills (Must have)

• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principle
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Solid understanding and working experience with RESTful web services
• Strong working knowledge of HTML5/CSS/Javascript to design and implement lean web applications
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• JS testing frameworks like Mocha, Jasmine, etc

Desired skills

• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token and OAuth2
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git etc – Self-starter who can think outside of the box, and come up with a solution to resolve and mitigate complex problems
• Experience working in an Agile development environment using methodologies like Scrum and tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc
• Experience with modern responsive front-end frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation, etc
