Roles & Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Should Costing of Metallic commodities, Manufacturing processes & Methods.

• Should be able to execute Should cost & VAVE projects independently

• Good Knowledge of various manufacturing processes [Heavy Fabrication, Forging , Machining, Casting, Heat treatment, Surface coating, Painting, Welding, etc.]

• Working experience on large Turbine & Valves, Large Generator, Plant & Systems commodities, certification requirements & guidelines will be an added advantage.

• Detailed Should cost analysis based on material, manufacturing processes, and other cost elements for both Built to Spec and Built to Print products through analytical approach , tear down approach

• Must have Good knowledge of complete Product Development Life Cycle including Design & Development, Manufacturing & Supply chain activities.

• Good to have Manufacturing/Shop floor exposure.

• Must have working Knowledge of Excel based costing.

• Good to have Working knowledge of aPriori , Boothroyd

• Working experience on Parametric Approach, Regression analysis, Bottom-Up costing, Teardown & Derivative Approach. Ability to work on Delta Calculation for Integrated Should Cost Platforms

• Work with customer teams & coordinate each work package deliverables.

• Develop Should cost models, present reports to stakeholders & participate in negotiations.

• Excellent communication, presentation & influencing skills

• Proficient knowledge of Sourcing & Engineering tools Siemens Solid Edge to calculate the Cost-Effective Design.,
