Role Summary/Purpose

The role of an Instrument Engineer is to execute engineering instrumentation activities for Steam Turbine/Centrifugal Compressor trains meeting the business/customer requirements

by aligning relevant standards and quality.

Specific Responsibilities

• Should have knowledge on P&ID.

• Preparation of data sheets for Field Instrument, per ISA standard.

• Preparation of Instrument Index, I/O list.

• Preparation of Cable Schedule, JB Schedule, Instrument Loop Diagram & Instrument Interconnection Diagram.

• Preparation of Cause & Effect, Logic Diagram & control system architecture.

• Good communication skills, proficient with computers.

• Knowledge on AutoCAD

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering

• 1-3 Years of experience in field instrumentation/detail engineering for process or plant systems.

• To be able to Work independently & complete the assigned task.

• Product knowledge on centrifugal compressor and steam turbine

• Ability to understand and implement design standards and configuration

• Ability to work in a global environment

• Knowledge of international codes like IEC, NEMA, ISA, API etc.

• Fluency in English
