Roles & Responsibilities:

• Drive technical and design discussions and lead the team of 10 members.

• Hands on is mandatory.

• Software design, development and maintenance of Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics applications

• Development using Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring core, Spring Boot, microservices, PL/SQL and UI technologies like JQuery, Angular JS, HTML 5

• Developing webservices using REST API

• Developing and executing unit / integration test cases and performing white box testing

• Research & follow industry technology trends to help Wabtec stay current

• Provide technical guidance to junior developers and contracted development resources

• Adhere to all the software requirements related to Application Performance, Architectural and Security standards

• Assist, guide and troubleshoot with the Support team to resolve customer issues of technical nature

• Work with teams through Agile development practices

• Partner with Project Manager to provide feasibility, estimates to develop a realistic / accurate estimations

• Participate in release coordination and communication to stakeholders
